I appreciated the fact that Jiren and Broly copied or reproduced some of Gogitas and Goku's move....it's just normal for students to imitate some of their teachers moves...and also the (watch and learn) process of knowledge....example: solar flair is a move that Tien invented....and Krilin and Goku and even Cell copied.... Krilins Destructo disk being copied by Frieza on planet Namek vs ssj Goku...and so on and so forth...... btw: those move were only copied under MUI forme of both fighters so by Whis definition of UI "the bodies ability to react independently without thinking" tells me the fighters are on autopilot mode beyond godly proportion and reacting instinctively with past experiences either witnessed and/or experienced......good touch to the story. Vegeta also said Broly was learning as he fights so it makes perfect sense to me that Broly would take some of Gogeta moves , plus Goku is ALWAYS using other people moves so it makes sense for Broly to do the same since he's a saiyan like Goku and he learns faster than Goku

I think it was to show that broly and jiren had surpassed their old self. Broly overcame his rage and jiren overcame his selfishness that they both had when they first fought goku and gogeta. I mean broly did kind of yse the god bind technique when he fought goku in the movie. Although it doesn’t make sense for broly to know how to use them its good symbolism. Gogeta's moves were used on Broly so, it makes sense to me that, broly has learnt those. Jiren just used goku's move as well.

I don't really see a problem with broly using techniques he's already seen before in previous battles. He's obviously quick to learn and adapt plus Goku is his master is it really uncommon for a student to use his master's techniques or even techniques of a previous enemy he had such as gogeta?
