This chapter just proves that Angel Merrus was weaker than Beerus, which also indicates that MUI is weaker than Beerus. As I said it you can have MUI and UI but doesn’t mean you are stronger than the GODS. For example goku activating MUI after couple of months with Meerus doesn’t mean his MUI is stronger than Beerus. Because Beerus has being training under an angel for millions of years and goku just spent couple of years.

Okay, here is the thing. As we know moro copied Meerus's abilities which makes him giving angel like powers. But we certainly don't know biological nature of Angels. My theory, Meerus is fused with Moro now but not able to take control of the fusion, which makes Meerus is alive somewhere within Moro's body. Maybe in future the fusion may appear with Meerus taking control over fusion (As like Bad Buu and Majin Buu) which makes the fusion as "Morus" and Grand Priest wouldn't loose any angel.

Here's my theory, and it's a big one. What if by chance this causes TGP to come to earth and hold Jaco responsible, since Moro is an escaped convict after all. TGP goes to Earth, sees Moro, lays it into Goku, and then Goku gets so pissed that he hakais Moro.
